Nestled in the beautiful Vallée du Louron in the Haute Pyrénées is La Retraite, a traditional 150 year old L-shaped dry stone house, situated in the tranquil mountain village of Cazaux Fréchet. La Retraite is within 5 minutes of all the amenities and activities of Loudenvielle and the valley whilst maintaining an air of seclusion and peace.

In the summer there is a vast array of activities to satisfy the most active and adventurous person but equally the area will delight those who simply want to enjoy the calm and splendour of the mountains.

In winter the valley transforms into a snowy wonderland. There are two ski resorts close to hand including Peyragudes and several others within an easy drive. Ski du fond (cross country skiing) and raquettes are also popular in the region. At the end of the day unwind at Balnéa the spa situated near to Loudenvielle.
